Lori D. Hale

Lori D. (Samuel) Hale, 48, Rogersville, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at her home with her loving husband Greg and her sister Lisa at her side after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, which took her away from us much too soon.

She was born May 21, 1964 in Springfield, the daughter of Gene and Delores (Johns) Samuel. She was married on May 15, 1999 to Greg Hale.

Lori was a big personality; funny, creative, energetic, and loving. An animal lover, she was always surrounded by dogs as they gave her so much joy. Lori was good at many things but she excelled at just being mom to her son Mason. She was also a loving wife, sister, daughter, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends.

She is survived by her husband, Greg; a son, Mason, of the home; her parents, Gene and Delores Samuel; a sister, Lisa O’Dell and her husband Bill, all of Springfield; her father and mother-in-law, Davy and Barbara Hale; a brother-in-law, John Hale his wife Lisa, all of Rogersville; a niece, Whitney Hale, four nephews, Brandon and Logan Hale, and Trenton and Landon O’Dell; an aunt, Eula Mae Hale, Springfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 in J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery, Rogersville.

Visitation will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the funeral home.

The family request memorial donations to C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue, 1328 A W. Sunshine, Springfield, 65807 or in care of the funeral home.
